Should I stop taking Vitex if I am going to start Femara or Clomid?

YES, they should not be taken together but you can stay on the Vitex up until the cycle you will take the Femara. Just don't take them in the same cycle. What other supps are you on? Personally, I'd take only folic acid/folate in a Femara cycle, and maybe a single dose of antihistamine an hour before BD if I had copious EWCM, but ONLY if I had truly a lot.

Thanks Atomic!
I'm really serious about my sway this time because almost all the men in my husband's family have had prostate cancer at a young age..
I have 3 boys now and would be very grateful to have a girl.
I already bought the Girl Sway Plan from this site and have found it very useful.
I have not started my sway, it will be until next year but here is what I initially had in mind:
-Strict LE diet, at least 90 days
-Supps for ME: Fiber, Folic Acid, Vitex, Peppermint Tea, Baby Aspirin, Cetirizine to dry up EWCM, maybe SYLK lube
-Supps for DH: I Know he will only take one, so I'm thinking Licorice Root
-7/8 days abstinence (He will be 38 and I will be 30, I know it is very borderline but he is the healthiest person I know.. doesn't smoke, excercises daily, balanced diet, lots of energy… BUT he doesn't have a very high sex drive so FR would be too much for him and probably impossible to complete)
-2 day cut off, only ONE attempt, (switching to 1 day cutoff if I don't get PG that cycle.)
Recently I have been reading a lot about Clomid and girl swaying. Since I am really serious about this sway I though maybe I could modify my sway to include Clomid.
What do you think? I'm open to all opinions, this is why I am planning this with many months in advance!!
Thank you!!!

Oh thanks for purchasing a sway plan!!!
Everything is looking good, with the exception of this concern:
Abstain - this is bad for men over 35 not because of their health but because it's that over time, tiny errors sneak into DNA repliation. It isn't health, it's just that over a certain number of years of life, these little errors start to occur (because making a copy of a copy of a copy the errors start to accumulate) The other concern I have about abstain is that with history of prostate cancer, regular release at older ages can actually help prevent this and I do not want any older man with a history of early prostate cancer in his family to abstain. Would you guys be willing to go with regular release instead? This is where he releases every 2-4 days and then you stick with your one attempt. It's a blue friendly pattern but as long as you stick with one attempt, it's getting good results.
Clomid is among the best of the sway tactics if you can get it, let me know as there are some things we'll need to change up if you get a prescription.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

WOW!!! Very useful info.. There is no way Im doing abstain after knowing this.
I might try daily FR (himself only) with one attempt and see if it works out...! I feel a bit more safe this way..
My dr. Already told me he would give me clomid, but only if he could monitor me throughout my cycle.
So yes! I will get the prescription as soon as I start my sway.
I would really aprecciate input on what supplements I should let go of and which are OK to keep using.. And anything you would like to add! Thank you so much Atomic!!

I prefer (vastly) that people are monitored on Clomid anyway so that is all good!
We can either drop the vitex and SP totally OR use them for 6 weeks straight before you are ready to start the Clomid. The latter is a bit of a gamble because your period may stop on the V and SP and need medical intervention to get it going again before you start the Clomid, but since your doctor is supportive, it is a lot less of a gamble for you to do that.
I would have you guys try FR with one attempt first and then we can switch to reg. release plus one attempt if that doesn't work out.
I would have you do the antihistamine in the rescue method only, and only the first month or two on the Clomid, then drop.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Baby aspirin, I do think can help a small amount but for many people the side effects have outweighed the benefits. Start small and see if you tolerate it ok.
