    Diet and low amh

With an indetectable amh level and high estrogen, should I still be doing the LE diet or switch to the fertility diet to help with egg quality?

Definitely switch to the Atomic Fertility Diet!! I have been doing it since October and I have low AMH. I am not really swaying much right no because I just want to get pregnant. I do not eat anything low fat or fat free. What was your level? Did they test FSH?

My amh was .16. I had my fsh come back at 5.04, but my estrogen was 111 so it is probably supressed. I need to pick up some of the coq10 or whatever it is called! I have added in chicken, eggs, avocado, whole fat, etc. but wondered if it was best to switch over fully. I am not 100% certain on what the fertility diet includes so I need to read up on it more.

Do you count calories/limits on it? If I remember correctly you don't. The only swaying things I have kept are 1-2 attempts and exercise (and that is just for my sanity!).

Well my AMH was lower than that! I am taking coq10 as well. The diet is pretty simple. I try to eat no more than 60 g fat daily and have definitely limited protein and usually skip breakfast, only because I am so used to it now. But if I fall hungry in between, I eat and don't feel bad about it. I have been actually pretty slacking with the diet lately though. Been eating veggie burgers and veggie chicken patties because I ended up really liking them but need to add in chicken, egg and salmon. I was exercising and loved it but it is soooooo hot here I haven't been able to alone (without kids) this cycle and I can't do it fully for 60 min with them. How long have you been trying?
I am going on 18 cycles ...so it is bound to happen soon!! It is definitely disheartening but I know a goldie has to come along soon!!!!

Number one factor of AMH - genetics

The issue I have with you on the alt diet is aren't you super thin, 3LM?? Can you DO the AFD and not lose any more weight???

I would certainly give it a try, it's been getting great results.

I didn't realize the AFD diet caused weight loss too. I know I lost fast when I tried the pcos version back in february. I am just trying to maintiain and have been doing that by switching to whole grain bread, but sticking to white pasta/rice. I typically have 2 slices of bread and then 1 serving of either gluten free rice noodles or white bowtie pasta. I have been having 2-3 servings of chicken a week and 1 avocado a week to help with fat. I guess my main goal is a healthy egg, so I trust whatever Diet you think is best under my circumstances.

And I agree on it being genetics. When I found all this out in March, my mom told me early menopause runs in the family.

Only 6 months. Mnot horribly long, but it is also my 4th medicated. I have two more months on femara/time intercourse and then I think my ob will send me to a specialist to continue.

It is frustrating either way. Maybe there is a way you could incorporate the AFD and try to maintain as well. Atomic will steer you right! And as Atomic says, sometimes it is just patiently waiting for the Golden Egg, as hard as it is at times!

I made the mistake of googling and all I saw were articles about amh causing miscarriages because of low quality eggs. It scared me into wondering if i was doing more harm than good. I just want to make sure I am doing what I can to get that golden egg here!

That is the downside of it. I wish I could come up with some diet that is like a combo of these two but it doesn't seem to be how it works. the carbs are the key to both slowing /stopping weight loss and also the egg quality issue.

Can you go gluten free??? I think that may be one type of a middle ground.
