I have been taking vitex af-o. I had a positive opk yesterday and a temp jump today. Should I quit the vitex today? Should I wean off over a couple days? Wait for three high temps? What are you doing?

I O on CD15 so I take it for 14 days. You shouldn't take it beyond O if you are TTC, so if there's a chance youre PG then I'd stop if you think you've O'd.

Hormonal supps don't work like vitamins do, so you don't have to wean yourself off of them. With vitamins, your body is using them to perform critical functions on a daily basis, whereas with the hormonal supps, your body actually has a hormonal cycle during which it makes hormones or doesn't make them, so it's ok to stop hormonal supps cold turkey and in fact, that's how they work best.
