early ovulation and lots of EWCM

I have been doing the diet and taking the supplements since getting AF this month (am on day 9 of my cycle). Usually I ovulate on day 16, but today and yesterday I had loads of fertile CM and I feel like I will ovulate way earlier than usual. I am taking Agnus Castus and aspirin, also sticking to the diet pretty strictly. We are not trying this month as I've only just begun the sway but I wondered whether anyone else noticed an immediate change to their cycle pattern? I thought the diet was supposed to dry up CM?! It certainly doesn't seem to have....! Thanks in advance!

I am also gearing up to ovulate early this month, based on my opks. I usually have a stark white opk until day 15 or so and then O on day 17 or 18, which only gives me an 11 day LP since I have a 28 day cycle. Now I am on day 13 and there is a good line there, I think it could turn positive tomorrow. I've been doing the diet on and off for about a year but really got more strict about it since the middle of the summer. I haven't had red meat since then and now a lot of days I eat vegetarian just because I don't feel like eating meat! I think the diet has changed my tastes which is really interesting. I don't have a lot of ewcm, but that's always been true for me. I think from what I've read, once you are on the diet for a bit longer, the ewcm often starts to dry up for a lot of people.

But yes I am wondering the same thing about early ovulation! Maybe changes in ovulation are a good sign?

Taking vitex can make ovulation earlier than normal (or later). It takes awhile...a couple of months at least for diet/supplements to have an effect on CM and on the body in general. Swaying won't always dry up your CM though, it really just depends on how your body reacts to it. FWIW I started the diet back in May and I still get EWCM, maybe just not as much as I usually do. You still do need at least some fertile CM otherwise it may be too hostile for the sperm to even survive.

Ah - in that case I think it's the Vitex... I am assuming it's a good thing! Not actually 'attempting' this month so hopefully in a while longer, the diet will kick in. Yes, I've been limiting meat for a few months and am pretty much fully veggie now. I find I don't really like the thought of meat anymore, which is weird! We are having Quorn a couple of times a week though which is pretty high in protein but really low fat.

You can actually get EWCM for 7-10 days before O so don't take that as gospel that O will come right away.

Yes, peopel do see immediate changes (I'd chalk this up to Vitex most likely) WHat you need to understand is that there very well may be changes in EWCM that sway pink even if it appears fertile and there's lots of it. Our ideas about CM are all just guesses, never studied, and we have had enough CM opposites (myself included, I got a boy with zero visible CM and did not even know I ovulted, and my daughter with EWCM that stuck around a couple days after O) that I do not believe you have to see no CM to be swaying pink.

Over time most people do see less, drier CM but you just haven't done it long enough yet. 9 days ~probably~ won't affect most people that fast and like I said the vitex may be altering your natural cycle as well.

changes in ovulation, both sooner and later, do seem to be associated with successful sways. We don't know why, but many of us found our cycles had either lengthened or shortened after a while on diet/supps.
