Prediction for SIL please

My SIL has to take the blood test again because there were problems at the lab but she has this 3d ultrasound, is it possible to see the sex? She was only 12 weeks when the ultrasound was taken.

Did she get any 2D shots? 3D is not good for gender, especially at this stage.

No unfortunately not. She'll have the results from the blood test next week but she sent me this video last night saying she thinks the one thing is the penis. But I always thought 12 weeks was too early to tell on ultrasound and assumed it must be the cord.

But I know you all are more knowledgeable so I thought I would ask here too

I agree, it does look like a penis and if I would guess, it would be boy

Thanks Claire! She also has 2 boys and was hoping for a girl but I know she'll be just fine with another boy

Confirmed boy from blood test! The grandparents will now have 6 grandsons and 0 granddaughters, I think it will be super cute, a bit loud but cute

I thought boy too. Interesting you both have 3 boys, are there many similarities between your lifestyles? Is it definite that neither of you will try for a 4th child?

No. She also has to do IVF with ICSI due to issues with her H. Unfortunately they lost the baby at a little over 12 weeks. They are thinking issues with the placenta as she has had issues with the previous pregnancies. They are probably going to try again but she is quite depressed at the moment (understandably). Maybe she'll get a girl next time?
