We are due to have our first attempt next month, it will be in around three weeks. I've been ill all week and saw the doctor today who prescribed me 7 days' antibiotics for a chest infection. I was surprised to read they sway blue (I thought being run down might sway pink). Should we postpone the attempt until March or will two weeks be enough to get them out of my system? Also I've not done any cardio since Sunday due to being ill which is something else to consider... I had been doing 65 min daily. Part of me thinks all the sway factors have made me very run down (this is the first chest infection I have ever had in my whole life!) and maybe we should just get on with it. Does anyone have any opinions? Thanks in advance!

I'm not at all convinced ABs sway blue, being sick sways pink, and I'd definitely not delay attempting. Proceed!
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Thanks, maidentomother! What do you think about the break in cardio? Is it worth starting up again in a couple of days for 2.5 weeks or will this do more harm than good? I really wanted to include cardio in my sway so I'm a bit gutted to go ahead without it when I've been doing it for four weeks pretty much daily :-/

I'd definitely resume cardio as soon as you feel well. The break is not a big deal. Plus you may not get pregnant for a while.

I had to take antibiotics twice during my sway. Last time was on the BFP cycle before ovulation. I was also concerned about it but Atomic said she thinks it doesn't sway blue. So I definitely wouldn't postpone attempting. And start doing cardio again when you are feeling well.

I have never seen any even remotely convincing evidence that they sway blue. And since we know that probiotics sway blue, I'd not be surprised if they even sway pink (and we believe being sick may sway pink as well)
I think you are fine to TTC next month. I hope you feel better soon!!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I agree it makes sense that ABs could potentially sway pink if anything.
