I just got my bfp this week. Super happy. This will be my third child , I currently have two sons one 6 other 2, both makes me super happy ! I can't wait , are there any tests that I can take to know the gender earlier ? I had no morning sickness wit either of my kids. No sickness right now, I am currently 5 weeks. If I don't have morning sickness , does it mean I am having another boy? Just feel very tired.

Congratulations!! Don't read into the morning sickness too much, I've had friends who have had none, then suffered terribly for the next and had the same gender. I'm 18 weeks now and had it much worst then my first, starting about 6 weeks, don't know the sex, but have a feeling this is my second little boy. I'm not sure about early gender testing, think in Australia u can get the harmony about 9-10 weeks though. Enjoy the next 8 months!

If you are in Australia you can get the Genea NIPT test. It's a blood draw at 10 weeks and costs $400ish, and you have the results by 11 weeks. Apart from gender it also be tests for genetic defects such as trisomys.

That's not true across the board -- most insurances in the U.S. will cover it if you're over 35; under 35 is more of a mixed bag on whether insurance will cover it, whether the makers of the test (Harmony, Panorama, Materniti21, etc.) will reduce the price BECAUSE insurance won't cover it, etc.
I was 26 when I was asking for the test, and my OB's office (before I switched over to a midwife) wouldn't even order it/consider it for me even after I pressed.
