So Excited to Plan a 2016 Sway!!

OMG! I had a heart to heart with my DH, I got straight to the point, and told him to think about it. I told him I still feel like there is someone I haven't met yet, and I don't feel comfortable closing the door yet. I said lets just try but not try, no opks, no temping, just when we feel like it, and see what happens. If it doesn't happen by his Xmas break, then he can get a vasectomy. I will feel ok with that knowing we tried for 10 cycles (mine are 24-27 days).

He thought about it and said ok as long as he calls the shots, and we go without protection when he wants. He always wants to in my fertile window anyway. He said since we've tried for a girl on my watch, he wants to try when he wants. He also said he won't back out on me- he gave me his word.

    I don't care! I'm happy [emoji4]!!!

He's gone vegetarian with me, and he intermittently fasts. I won't be able to to the cardio but I'm very active cardio wise now anyway.

    I'm so excited!

    Yay!!!!

Thank you! I'm very excited but also know that I have to be careful to not lose my ovulation, since I'm still breastfeeding quite a bit still. My DS3 is 4.5 months old and nurses quite a bit during the day and only once in the middle of the night. I've been getting copious amounts of fertile CM and horrid ovulation pains to let me know that I'm ovulating.

I'm sticking to the upper limits of the diet in calories and protein, while keeping fat low and saturated fat extra low. I'm drinking white wine 3-5 days a week, walking DS1 to and from school (45-50min), 1600-2400mcg folate, and BDing every 4 days or as often as DH likes. This is pretty much what my lifestyle has been since before DS3 was born. I'll add fiber before fatty meals once DS3 is 6mo.

I'm keeping this ultra laid back and super stress free. I'll be shocked if I get pregnant, and I'm not really expecting to. I just need to do this so I can be comfortable once my DH gets a vasectomy the middle of December. I have worked out that gives me 10 cycles to see if it happens. I'll be ok if it doesn't happen, or if it leads to another sweet baby boy [emoji4]! I hope all I'm doing gives my DH the best chance at getting a DD.

I'm just happy that he is doing this for me!!

Good luck XX! I'll be rooting for you!
Me: 35 years old. Was an infant nanny and birth and postpartum doula. Now a full time SAHM.
DS1: Aug 2003 (my first home birthed water baby!)
DS2: May 2009 (my second home birthed water baby!)
    Oct 2014
July 2016: Laproscopic surgery to remove a ping pong ball sized endometrioma on left ovary and 3 pea size fibroids on outside of uterus. Hysteroscopy to remove one larger "penetrating fibroid" inside uterus.
Oct 2016: Heartbroken after DH's vasectomy. Looks like my dreams of a daughter are gone.

Oh, and my DH had a vasectomy consultation a year ago as well, but hasn't mentioned it since! I told him I would want him to freeze his sperm, just in case, till he's 40 (he's 33). He looked up the cost and that was the end of it I think!

So excited for you hun! I have always envisioned you as a mother of 4.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period
