    Question about stopping sway....

    Hi ~

I was on the LE diet for 11 weeks. I followed it pretty strictly the last 6 weeks. Even though I did keep up my calories, I lost 11 pounds and would like to gain back a couple of pounds before we try again next month if we are not pregnant. So far I have gained almost 2 pounds, I am 9 days past ovulation. If AF comes I plan to go back to the strick diet for two weeks until ovulation again.

So my question is.... since I gained weight and went slightly off the diet for the past several day... will this now sway boy??? Will the weight gain sway boy???
I understand we always have a 50/50 chance, but the last thing I would want to do is sway boy.

    Thank you!!!

I don't think so! I wish it could be that easy to be on loose diet for few days and get your desired gender LOL!

BTW, I'm always cheating like crazy during 2WW ( skip a brekkie here and there, stop exercises etc lol!)

No, you will not be swaying boy after losing 11 pounds and gaining back two. Some people want to lose two, gain two, etc and that I don't think is a good idea, but 11 pounds means you have lost some muscle and that will only help. It's obviously not the ideal (but none of us have a "perfect" sway and those are the ones who always seem to fail anyway ), and I would not gain much more than that but I don't think there's anything wrong with where you are.

Good point Zivic! If it was that easy to conceive a baby boy, we wouldn't have anyone swaying blue!!

    Butting in here to ask:
I lost 15 on the atkins diet, and have gained back about 8 on the HE diet. Will this be enough? I mean, it seems about the same as losing 11 and gaining 2...

Yes, I think it will be enough because you're gaining it on a higher protein diet, KWIM?? Your body is adding some muscle mass while HH is probably not.
