I started my sway about 2 weeks ago. I'm trying to skip/delay breakfast, no meat, eggs, cereal, oatmeal. Trying not to snack, but I'm literally shaking at times. I'm eating 1500-1800 calories a day. Any favorite recipes, daily menu ideas ladies?
I'm a total boy diet kind of girl so this is rough!

I've posted a few recipes as I've got along but here's a couple of my favourites that are really tasty and low in kcal/fat

While I was swaying I ate a burrito almost every day for lunch for the last couple of months to help with protein intake. I usually added iceberg lettuce and a little salsa to it for flavor. I also ate a lot of rice pasta, salads, beans and rice, veggie stir fry. Dinners were always vegetarian but sometimes I'd make meat for DH then just eat the side items like rice, potatoes, green beans, peas, etc. Examples of some things I'd make for dinner were: veg. chili, split pea soup, pancakes, veg. jambalaya, spaghetti, veggie fajitas, black bean burgers. I think most vegetarian meals are suitable for LE. If you just Google "vegetarian recipes" there's a lot to choose from.

At least 3. Have only been able to skip breakfast a few times, otherwise I feel ill. At this point I'm trying to just delay it or eat something tiny just to keep my blood sugar from plummeting. Trying to avoid snacking but I'm so hungry! I eat a lot of food normally, usually lean protein, I'm 115 lbs and 5'3. I haven't weighed but my clothes are loose already.

You do get used to the no snacking (and no breakfast) but I know it's so hard in the beginning! I used to be the type of person to snack all. the. time. I was always looking through the pantry or nosing through the fridge. lol After 2-3 months of LE, I got completely used to no snacks. Having just two meals a day (lunch and dinner) became my norm. Try to eat more filling foods like beans, maybe some dairy if you're really struggling. It does get easier, I promise!

So I love beans and lentils, but I thought those foods were not the greatest on LE for some reason...read that somewhere I thought.
That's my problem, I'm trying to avoid too many food groups that I just don't eat enough!

These are totally fine on the LE diet. I think where it becomes trouble for some people eating beans on the LE diet, is if they eat a lot of cheese and lean meats. In that case, beans may make it hard to stick to fat and protein totals. If you're going the vegetarian or vegan route, beans are great to add since they help with protein.

I find eating more vegetable in relation to fruits help keep me full longer. I was eating 4-5 servings of fruit and 3 servings of vegetables a day, due to my sweet tooth! Now that I've switched and eat more veggies in relation to fruits, I feel fuller longer between meals.
