Ok, I didn't see any thing regarding negative ions so if there is one I am sorry to do it again.
How does negative ions sway girl? I have purchase a salt rock lamp and magnetic bracelet(in pink of course) just in case there is something to it. I read that lavender oil does produce negative ions so I saw a thing for a lavender patch that is suppose to emit negative ions. Do you think this would be a good thing or bad?
Ok just a one more questions(sorry). I am planning my sway for October and have read that is a predominately boy month. So do the negative ions help to try to counteract that?
Mommy to three(ages 9,4, and 1 year).......
Hoping and praying to add my sweet baby
Please lord grant me this one wish....the desire is so deep in my heart!!!

Negative Ion questions

I've copied and pasted from the environmental factors affecting gender determination:
Ions
Ions have been discussed in tandem with the state of the moon. Ions are essential to life. Sodium, potassium, calcium and other ions play an important role in the cells of living organisms, particularly in cell membranes. The theory is X-bearing and Y-bearing sperm have differing ions. When there is a full moon, there are more positive ions in the air and you will be breathing these in. If you have an abundance of positive ions in your body, it is believed that you are more likely to attract male sperm. When there is a new moon, there are more negative ions in the air and you will be breathing these in. If you have an abundance of negative ions in your body, it is believed that you are more likely to attract female sperm.
Our TTC a Girl and TTC a Boy Pages will go into detail about how to promote or discourge ions based on what Dream Gender you are hoping for.

Yes, I'm sorry, I don't believe in ions and so I haven't yet taken the time to write up a guide for them, I've been concentrating on the things I think actually do sway first.
Negative ions supposedly sway pink by attracting the egg to the sperm. The theory is that there are electrical charges that attract a particular gender sperm and that certain months (or via diet) you'll get an egg that has a particular electrical charge to it. The problem is, this theory does not seem to be supported by facts and different-gendered sperm do not carry any different electrical charge whatsoever. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/show...rm-and-Y-sperm
The good news is, that lavender oil and salt rock lamps certainly don't hurt anything, and if you like using them, no harm done.
The bad news is, since ions are probably not doing anythign anyway, NO, they don't help counteract the "October effect". It's probably a combination of day length, increased Vit. D due to sunlight, and your body "recording" several months of higher than normal temperatures that sends that signal that a boy pregnancy might have a good chance of survival because he'd be born in the early summer when food was plentiful http://genderdreaming.com/forum/show...ns-and-swaying
But that's ok too, because both genders are conceived in every month, it's just that there is a peak in boy conceptions Sept-Nov in the Nortnern Hemisphere (it's far from "predominantly", too.) You still have a good shot at a baby girl and if you're swaying, it's an even better shot.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
