I have 3 boys. I've assumed that's because DH is a strong pH 10 & because we've never done O + 12.
The past 2 cycles (I went off of IUD in June), I've started spotting 2 days before my period starts. It's obnoxious, really. I just thought it was normal until I read that it could be due to low progesterone or a Leutal Phase defect. Low progesterone sways boy...
Does anyone know if this is considered a Leutal(sp?) defect? Is this because of low progesterone? Or is there another reason?

Does spotting before AF indicate low progesterone & sway boy?

It can mean that but certainly not always. You can take B6 or B complex before and after O which should help with progesterone level but the only way to know for sure is to have it tested to make sure your body is doing what it should.

To clarify B6 is the vitamin that helps with progesterone. If you take too much it can cause tingly hands and you should not stop it cold turkey if you start. Wean yourself off or just continue to take a B complex vitamin during pregnancy.

Spotting 2 days before O is not considered an LPD. Anywhere from 12-14 days is considered an adequate LP to achieve pregnancy.
I personally am far from convinced that low progesterone sways blue anyway.
PS - if your DH has a pH of 10, he needs to see a doctor to rule out infection. That high a pH is not normal and may indicate an infection which is never a good thing. (you don't need to mention that you've been checking his pH, he can just say that he had some pain with ejaculation.)
I hope you read my essay about the advantages and disadvantages of O+12 found here: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/show...ntages-of-O-12
And also the other two links, the history and the how to are here:

They are very up on O+12 on the InGender site but I don't love O+12 personally.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I'd never heard that my DH having an infection could be a pH of 10. Is there any information on gender dreaming that talks about that?? Very interesting, thanks for sharing!
Yes, I did read your links on O+12. Given that all of my boys were shettles opposites, I need to try something different!

When I changed diet/supps to sway boy, I had spotting before my period for the first time in my life ... usually 3-4 days before AF started I would spot and I was super concerned about it being low prog. I was hoping it would sway boy for me but there's hope for you because I'm having another girl.
Anyhow, I did call my doc about it and they weren't at all concerned and didn't even test my prog levels; if you are concerned, call your doc. Mine said it was likely due to different hormone levels but as long as my actual AF was "normal" still (not extra heavy or light, not lasting longer than 7 days) that it was nothing to be concerned about. My levels were completely fine at my early pg bloodwork and I've had no spotting at all during pg.

There is info on here that talks about that but no "official" post.
If you Google it, you'll get tons of hits that talk about high pH and infection. The white blood cells that are being produced to fight the infection can raise pH.
