Hello Blue Swayers!
I'm in my second cycle TTC girl and as I've been reading this site for a few weeks now, I've realized just how heavily my sisters and I lived/ate boy diets/lifestyles without even knowing it (we all have beautiful boys)! So, I thought I'd share what we were doing/how we were eating for those of you swaying for boys.
Meals: Frequent meals throughout the day, every two hours beginning at 8:30am until 8pm; lots and lots of snacking (think: snacks in purse lol)
Diet consisted of high amounts of: chicken, fish, dark leafy/nutrient rich greens (kale, spinach), avocado (lots of guac, plain avo with bfast and lunch, avo shakes), tomatoes in all forms (spaghetti sauce, salsa, lots of ketchup), lots of Asian sauces high in sodium (fish sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce), potatoes, potato chips. Small amounts of calcium - no milk, ice cream and yogurt on occasion, cheese once in a while. Most meals were high nutrient high protein, always had grains, chicken/fish and a dark veggie with every meal. Oh yeah - usually had oatmeal, cereal or toast w/ bananas & almond butter for breakfast.
TTC - Big O, pretty much every time. BD close to or on ovulation date. Lots of CM when BD.
We're all pretty high stressed/type A/try to be super organized and plan whatever we can.
Living this lifestyle for so long and reading this site has really opened my eyes to why we all have boys. Although it was hard to skip breakfast and just eat less in general at first, it's getting easier. Toughest times for me is on weekends cause I loved eating breakfast/brunch with my family. Now, it's just coffee for Mommy![]()
Anyway, hope this helps for the blue swayers! Sending all my blue dust your way!!

No prob! Everyone on here has provided such a wealth of information, I felt I should also share my experience now that I can see more clearly what may be behind my family of boys!
Do you think almond milk is ok? I've been drinking coffee in the mornings with a little almond milk to help curb my appetite since I'm waiting til noon to eat.

Almond milk is a toss up. It may be blue friendly because it's highly fortified, but at the same time, the vegetable based oils present in high amounts may sway pink.
We just don't have the data to pin down individual foods and "how they sway". It is much more reasonable to assume it's the diet as a whole and not any one food.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Anecdotally, I had almond milk semi-frequently when I conceived my daughter, though I also had a very LE lifestyle -- I also am a very Type A personality, so almond milk + that personality can still yield a girl with everything else.
@business.woman: I know it can seem that way from the old school ways, but there are definitely studies that say high fat dairy = fertility, and boys. I felt a little unsure about this myself after getting sucked into the "alkaline" business, where milk is considered acidic, but then there is so, so much that disproves that notion, too. The Netherlands has the highest dairy consumption in the world, and they definitely have plenty of (tall) boys born there

So are we across the board that full fat dairy is good for a boy sway? I always ate lots of dairy before my daughter but I didn't regularly snack or eat breakfast ever. Plus I was on clomid for her, so I think those things swayed more girl than having dairy. I'm having dairy now for my boy sway bit eating more regularly and having breaky.
