Hi Atomic,
I saw you post here recently that you don't recommend taking myo inositol for a girl sway unless you have PCOS. Can you please explain? I have been taking pregnitude and plan to have our first attempt in 6 weeks. Just wondering if I should drop it?
Thanks!

I just don't think there is any point to it unless your insulin response is poor. People over 40, PCOSers, those with more than 50 lbs to lose, people with inexplicably bad egg quality. Others, I don't recommend it for.
If you're doing ok on it it's up to to you, but I'd be super cautious not to lose too much weight on it and also that it doesn't make your blood sugar go so low that it makes you lightheaded.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thanks for your quick response! I've been taking it for about 2 months and haven't noticed any negative side effects. I'd love for it to help me drop a few pounds, but I haven't noticed that. Just wanted to be sure I wasn't totally ruining a pink sway with it
I've also been taking vitex, which I think has helped regulate my cycle (was still within normal limits of 28-35 days, but a little unpredictable in length and which day I'd ovulate. last 2 months were exact same after the vitex)

Sorry to jump into the post. I just had a failed ivf cycle do to poor response to stims. I was on 150iu metopur. I only have four mature follicles at egg collection after 15days of stims. Only one egg had the 'seed' and was fertilised. On my transvaginally ultrasound i had lots of follicles so PSO however i dont have any other clinical symptoms of the syndrome. My hormones are fine, im not over weight, i eat really well (paleo), im not insulin resistant, i exercise 3 times a week, regular periods so im kind of stumped. The IVF clinic has suggested i try metaformin???? What about inositol?
Do you think this would help?
I really need something to reduce the number of follicles i have and encourage the onse i have to grow.

Metformin is better and more effective than inositol. Do the metformin.
