So far all OPK's are negative, but I found what seemed to be EWCM this morning and I have a very large temp dip even though I was actually hot and under thick covers:
due to my findings and my cervix being very high I went ahead and BD'd this morning. I'm trying to decide if I should go for a 3rd tonight just in case then give it a break tomorrow and keep a lookout for a +OPK.
Thoughts?

I wanted to update you on the latest.
Today is CD 20, FF says I O'd CD16, but based on other fertile symptoms I strongly feel it was early CD18.
I'm confused and feel like I screwed things up because tested on CD18 at night and left the test and I didn't see the test until the afternoon of CD19. The night of CD17, the test looked darker than what I had before (still not positive) but because of my shift, I didn't really pay any mind to it.
To summarize:
CD17 7:00PM -OPK (quite dark)
CD18 1:00PM -OPK
CD18 8:00PM +OPK
CD19 8:00PM +OPK
CD20 6:00AM +OPK
I marked CD15 as positive because at that time, it was the darkest one I had and they went lighter on CD16 and CD17 during the day.
Have you seen other cases like these? Why such strong OPK's after the matter? My cervix is low, firm and totally closed now and CM is creamy, whereas from days 15 to 18 it was very high and I had EWCM. Yesterday (CD19) my cervix was not too high or too low and CM was still stretchy but milky/creamy.
We're done with BD, the best I can do is one more shot tonight. DH is okay with once daily. I didn't take the break I was supposed to take because of the rise, then a second rise. To me, it was clear that O was happening and I didn't feel a break was smart at that point.
Any thoughts?

So I played around with my chart and added 3 more temps, took out the CD15 +OPK and left the +OPK's for CD's 18,19 and 20. My O day was moved to CD19. If I remove all OPK tests, my O day is left at CD16.
I still think it was CD18 (and I have a hunch that I released eggs from both ovaries, frat twins run on my mom's side, so CD 17 & 18 would make most sense). I even had the usual restless, hotflashy night that I tend to get when I O the night of CD18. I think I may be ovulating before LH gets to my urine. This could only be confirmed with scans and bloodwork.
My focus here is my attempts. If I O'd on CD16 or CD19, am I still in blue territory?

The OPK don't tell you if you've ovulated. They just detect the surge hormone which sometimes takes its time to work its way through. You can have your tests go neg before you O, and stay pos after you O.
I think no matter how you slice it you're in with 2-3 attempts. I tried to be really conservative and make it come out one, but I couldn't. Most of us boy moms had BD patterns very much like that. I can promise we never had the night, morning, night pattern when we got our boys, we did pretty much exactly what you did.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
