Hi,
I suffer from terrible migraines so i get nervous at changing my diet too drastically because it does trigger them if i do and just now im getting just 1-2 a month.
At the moment i work part time 3 days a week, on those days i wake at 5.30am (after being woken through the night by my 21m old zzzzzzzzzz lol), i have a strong coffee at work (with half cup semi skimmed milk and 2 artificial sweeteners) at 6.30, i then have maybe another 2 or 3 of these through the day. Lunch at work either doesnt happen at all or i have 2 toasted crumpets with butter (sorry im in the UK, not sure if you have these in the US). If im hungry due to having no lunch i may have a biscuit or wafer when i get home. I then eat my dinner at approx 6pm and this is typically a feta salad with pasta or baked beans on toast/jacket potato.
On my days off I'm home with my daughter i do pretty much the same but enjoy a couple more hours sleep than the above but still no breakfast, same amount of coffee and just have biscuits or chocolate for lunch and then my dinner in the evening.
Now i know coffee is girl friendly - should i be switching to 1% milk instead of semi skimmed (which is 1.5-1.8% fat)or is it the nutrients in the milk that are the issue not the cals? How does poor sleep away pink?
i do eat a fair bit of sweet things and am a little overweight, should i stop doing this or is it ok since i have it as a 'meal' and not grazing all day? Should i try and radically change everything im doing to follow LE or carry on as i am and track my cals to make sure im within LE cals but continue the above?
should i be avoiding nutritous tuna and salads? I dont really eat veg so this is all i eat in regards to anything i would call nutritous (not good i know)
Also - my ovulation question. i have cramps that i have always had at ovulation, the whole of my abdomen feels sore as though ive done too many excercises for about half a day. i know you cant say for certain without seeing my ovulation actually happen from my tubes but i wondered if there was a trend of these pains - ie, like do they come before, during or after ovulation? I cannot temp due to my lack of sleep but my OPKs are easily readable.
We are going to do one shot at pos OPK - this does scare me as we DTD everyday with my baby girl but ive seen your stats and know that it works the best so one shot is what we will do!
My hubby has high BP so im not giving him sups but we may use flax to lower testosterone. Hes stopped eating red meat and is eating some fish but trying to keep as close to vegetarian as he can.

Anyone without moderate to severe PCOS can have carbs and sugary stuff. If you have any symptoms of PCO we should discuss what changes to make but I'm ok with you starting off on a higher carb/sugar diet (since you're eating that anyway) and we can see how it goes. We can usually tell in short order if you are ok on that kind of diet or if we need to make more changes.
Tuna should be no more than 2x a week for anyone TTC and many will choose to cut it out entirely to sway. You don't have to, just be sure you're sticking with 40-50 g protein total. Salads, we have found that the kind of nutrients in fruit and veg actually are not very effective (if at all) for swaying and we treat low carb veg like salad greens as totally free and unlimited. Avoid things like prenatals or multivitamins but don't sweat the veg.
O pains can (and do) happen before, during, and after O. WE can't use them to pin down anything related to ovulation, unfortunately.
is hubby on BP medication?? If so, he should leave supplements alone. I am not a fan of flax, I feel like it is very mixed effects on everyone and I have not seen enough people use it to have a good feel for it. BP medications sway anyway.
RE migraines, I have them and was just put onto metoprolol which was life changing. It has really helped so may be something to ask about.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thank you for your reply, I am loving your new pic, your little girl is so cute!!!
He is on Ramipril but forgets to take it that often that he's hardly on it, really bad of him i know however do you mean they sway pink? I'll tell him if so it will be an added incentive for him (as if good health isn't enough) so that he takes them. I will cut tuna totally for the sway, is that
All fish or just Tuna? I don't mind cutting all if it helps and I'm
Still getting chocolate so really won't complain there! Had various tests due to miscarriages and tested negative for pcos so and everything else so hopefully I'm
Ok with the sugars.
Oh Atomic - our doctors are so bad with migraine meds- I will definitely ask for them, not sure how far I'll get with it. My sister gets them
Even worse than I do, she's been hospitalised and given morphine as that's the only thing that would take away the pain which was making her physically sick and yet they won't prescribe anything other than beta blockers!! But that's a whole other story, I'll pass on the medication name to her too, we have both recently moved house so hopefully our new doctors will be more helpful
Great to know about the salads, I'll continue there - I was scared of tomatoes ruining my pink sway - is that true or are they ok too?

Yes, they sway pink.
Most people will give up all meats including fish for the sway.
Sorry, that IS a beta blocker so if those don't work for you then that one probably won't either.
Re tomatoes - the only reason why those were ever said to be a "boy" food is that the old mineral balancing diets (which most of us got opposites with LOL) said that potassium swayed blue (never been at all proven, BTW). But at the same time they had people ingesting gallons of dairy a day and dairy has TONS of potassium. So in order to both limit potassium intake while having tons of dairy foods they had to cut back on all other foods with potassium in them. If you're following the LE Diet and aren't doing all that dairy, you are fine to eat tomatoes and in fact you probably NEED to just to get up to the minimum 2500 mg potassium a day your body needs to function (and this is the same on the mineral balancing diet as well since it is what your body needs and you can get very ill or even die if you don't get enough potassium)!!! Pink coffee, I also have some pretty bad migraines. The combination of topamax, extra magnesium daily and imigran really works for me. It's such a search that I just wanted to share with you :-).
