Atomic I need some help for tonight with clomid!

So very sorry to bother you and post twice today. I just don't know if I should take the clomid tonight days 5-7. Today is day 5 of a second round of bleeding (red). Not sure if it's my real period but my OB said I could take the clomid if I kept bleeding even though it may not be my real period.
OB is out of town so I can't ask her anything else so I'm desperate. So sorry again, but thank you for all the help as always Jenn

Do you have a pregnancy test?? Take the pregnancy test and if you haven't had unprotected sex in the past 14 days you can take it.

And also of course the test needs to be negative.

I understand you aren't pregnant, we need to be sure you're not still making HCG though because if you are the Clomid won't work right. (((hugs))) why can't this be easy, right?

Oh thank you so much for the quick response! You are such a life saver! We did have sex last Sunday night but protected.
I did take a wondfo this morning and I think it was negative because I couldn't see a second line so I'm assuming the hormones are out of my body or not much at all if I can see a distinct line?

I was just going to do one attempt this month anyway at +ops and then E4d after the positive opk...isn't that what you usually recommend? And then next month I'll do E4d if not pregnant.

Also, does Day 3-7 sway for girl than 5-7? I took 3-7 last time but I wanted to make sure I kept bleeding past 3 days and I'm on day 5 and still bleeding so if it doesn't sway less I was going to go ahead and take it.

ok great then in that case I agree with the doc that it's ok to take the clomid.

yes I'd love to see you have one attempt and then e4d after that. my fave method on Clomid!

I don't think CD 3-7 sways more than 5-9. I'd go ahead and take it. I think we ~may~ see lower chances of conception with CD 5-9 than 3-7 but it's marginal. go for it if doc says ok!

Hi Atomic, I took the clomid and last night was day 9 of 5-9. Well I’m on day 10 and I’m still bleeding...actually today is much more than before. Is this all normal. Tomorrow will be 5 weeks postpartum.
I’m now pretty sure this is not my period so obviously the clomid can’t work since I’m still bleeding
Just don’t know what’s going on with my body and why I’m bleeding so much

I'd def. call to check with the doc about the bleeding but the Clomid can actually still work. We just have to wait and see.

Try taking 1 or 2 ibuprofens today. (no more than that) sometimes that can help shut down a stubborn flow.
