Update- so, we are on cycle 3 of ttc girl. We conceived before starting due to late ovulation but sadly ended in a chemical at 5 weeks.
Im on the pcos diet because I have difficult to shift baby weight. I've lost 12lbs on this one.
I could do with taking COQ-10 and magnesium 180mg for my health. It's for cell reproduction for a chronic pain condition. It's not going to kill me if I don't but could help. I am reluctant though because of the sway. If I do take them should I continue ttc or wait? Not that dh would wait anyway! Also I wondered if the COQ-10 100mg would help with my blood sugar for the sway? Also I think I should take calcium with magnesium if I absolutely have to take it but I have a full fat yoghurt daily and full milk in coffee. I'm thinking of just taking the COQ-10 to be honest as I don't want to be worrying I'm undoing my sway.
Dh won't engage in the one attempt/ e4d. We've discussed it but it's not enough for him and he doesn't agree with it no matter what I show him. It caused me to feel stressed so I have let this battle go and I bd in his pattern. I know this is not the advice, I have prioritised our peace and letting the stress go.
I usually have painful ovulation but this cycle I had none of it so I don't feel like I ovulated. Just a positive opk which I know doesn't mean I ovulated, the cervix was also open at the same time.

I often give coq10 to pink swayers. That is fine.
Magnesium is at your discretion. If you need certain supps for your health and well being I recommend taking them. Lots of people have gotten girls while taking magnesium.
All you can do with DH is what you can do. Just do your best and then turn it over to a higher power (God, the universe, Lady Luck, whatever as per your belief system.) My husband would never have done that either and then it just happened to work out that way luckily for me.
Symptoms can def. change while swaying so don't read too much into not having O pains but if you're pretty good about knowing when O has happened, you are probaby right, keep having attempts.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thank you Atomic, that is helpful and reassuring.
One last thing. Am I okay to increase the COQ-10 up to 300mg?
Im not too worried about the skipped ovulation since it can happen anyway but is there anything I need to do to help it return?
I feel used to the diet and actually a bit more energy, the only thing bothering me a bit is hair loss which I get during postpartum. And brittle nails too. I don't want to take a multivitamin to address this yet. Hopefully we will get our bfp soon.Last edited by Telia_Nibbles; February 11th, 2018 at 04:35 AM.

300 mg co10 is fine.
Eating a serving of full fat dairy daily and 4-6 eggs a week can help if ovulation is delayed.
Yes it's very common to have hair loss after a loss. ARe you eating enough otherwise?? Your nails should not be negatively affected by LE Diet done properly.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Great, thank you. I have full fat dairy everyday- a yoghurt in a smoothie with a cup of strawberries, banana and coconut water. Plus full fat milk in coffee and a whole egg every other day.
Apart from that I have two other meals. I'm full afterwards but not stuffed and I'm not hungry. I have cheats. Today I've had four meals because I'm hungry. I don't count because I had an eating disorder years ago but I try to keep to the upper limits of the lists of the pcos diet. I've been on it for 4 months and have lost about 12lbs. My metabolism feels slower since my last baby. I used to eat a lot- 10 portions of fruit and veg daily, meat, vitamins and probiotics. Also my entire life until this sway I've drank at least one large glass of milk every evening. So I hope I'm getting enough, it can be tricky at times but it's very different to my previous boy diet.
Maybe I didn't ovulate or didn't get symptoms. Either way is very different. I always have pain and gas/ bloating for at least a day maybe two. I didn't used to before my last baby.Last edited by Telia_Nibbles; February 12th, 2018 at 11:52 AM.

Oh good yes I don't want anyone with history of ED to count. I'm sure you're doing great, the only reason I like people to count is that sometimes people will cut back more and more over time without realizing it so if you're pretty sure you are getting a good amount of food intake, it's all good. 12 lbs in 4 months is a very nice, gradual weight loss.
just be sure that once you drop below BMI 21 you put on the brakes, no more weight loss, and once you hit 18.5 it's time to do whatever it takes to prevent any more weight loss.
Keep me posted about ovulation - I will not be surprised to hear that your period arrives right on time.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Oh I have a way to that as I'm still classed as a few pounds overweight. It's baby fat and is the biggest I've been but is coming off gradually. Even when it's not I can tell my body is getting smaller.
I will keep you posted. Thank you so much for your help.
