    The "offical "start of AF ?

    Hi everyone my periods are usually any where from 25-36 days.Ive started using the cbfm .Turned out that this month while checking my ph discovered af had arrived over a wk early ON MONDAY EVENING.(not a problem) Set the moniter following morning as DAY 1 But i didnt have any blood loss till the Tuesday evening.Sooooo do you count the first day as Wednesday(on the cbfm) or Monday?? Help think ive confused myself

    I would count the 1st day as Tuesday since the bleeding started then. Monday evening probably was some spotting before af.
    I always spot before af, but I count my 1st day when the blood loss really starts. HTH!

    ^^^ Yes to what ZB said. Light to medium bleeding should be counted as CD1. If it's just spotting you don't count it. So if you had regular AF bleeding on Tues. I would count that as CD1.

    I have to agree on Tuesday. Sometimes i will bleed just b4 AF when i have sex.
