I know most sites say onions and garlic are big NO's for a girl sway but I'm wondering if this is still the current thinking or if this is old school? I eat a salad for dinner almost everyday and it always includes either raw red onion or cooked red onions along with roasted peppers and corn like a southwest type salad. Do you think I should cut back on the onions or completely cut them out? Or is this old info and I can keep on eating them everyday?

Old school. The girl sways on here say you can have them, just in moderation. I know many still avoid garlic, but I can tell you I had tons of garlic (impossible to avoid with my ethnicity and our food!) before my DD; the other LE things I was doing definitely made more impact than having some garlic

I seriously doubt they do anything at all. But when I was making the LE Diet, whenever I could keep an "old school" recommendation without causing people undue suffering, I tried to do that, so I kept the bit about onion and garlic. Subsequently, we've been having such great results with people eating widely varied diets and there is just absolutely NO way that they're really swaying. So, it's one of those things I really don't believe in, but we keep in the mix because it's possible to do. And thus, it's totally your call to make if you want to include them or not.
