Hi friends
I'm about 6 weeks and feeling nauseated all day and night. I feel miserable I'm about to eat, but nothing tastes good after. I have a president bad taste in my mouth. I can't even stomach water without gagging. I vomit only once a day, but feel nauseated all day.
When did your nausea go away and did any products help?
I don't recall it being this bad with DS. Does baby gender play a role in morning sickness?
Thanks

Gender definitely does not cause sickness or lack of it.
I found drinking lemon water helped. My sickness usually went away about 13 weeks but with dd5 it lasted until 26weeks (sorry!)
Hopefully it will ease off or you find something to helpMummy to

I found that sucking on sour hard candies like Jolly Ranchers and lemon drops helped a lot with my nausea. Keep them by your bed and pop one into your mouth before you even get up.
Morning sickness does not have to do with your baby's gender. I know people will say it does, but trust me on this - it doesn't, and looking into symptoms and gender is a surefire way to set yourself up for false hope and false despair.
I had horrible morning sickness with DS 1, 3, 4. I had next to no morning sickness with DS 2 and my daughter. There was no rhyme or reason to it. The sickness with DS 1, 3, 4 were all very very different from each other, and then the pregnancies with DS 2 and DD were nearly identical - but they were different genders!

Like Noemi I found sipping ice cold full fat Cola to be a help. Also chewing peppermint gum. I was worse this time than any pregnancy, I had HG til 20 weeks on DS1 and DS2. I'm still on my anti nausea meds this time and get really badly sick when I try to wean off them. But it's twins this time so maybe that's the reason!
As for gender, I had the HG on pregnancies 1, 2 & 4. No sickness at all really on my third which was DS3. I don't think sickness equals girls AT ALL! It was hearing that from all the old wives that had me full sure DS1 was a girl!!

Hope u start to feel better, i had morning sickness in all 4 preg, 3 boys and this one unknown. Lasted approx 16 weeks, cold drink/juice, ice lollies, toast helped on some days: other days even those didnt work.
My sis had sickness with her girls only, and iv had sickness with all boys so far so it doesnt relate to gender id say.
