Hi,
As the title says. I was just wondering what experiences others had with their CM pH throughout their cycle.
Thanks.

How does CM pH change during or around ovulation?

A rule of thumb is that the more fertile the cm, the higher the pH will be... so as cm goes creamy then watery/ewcm as ov approaches it will increase

It tends to go up.
I was checking my pH every day and sometimes twice when i conceived DS 4 and it never budged from 4.5. You can get opposites even with low pH.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I know they say PH goes up around/during ovulation....but for me it doesn't change too much. It is almost always around 4.5/5.

Oh I forgot to add, that just because pH at the cervix is 4.5, it doesn't tell us too much about what's going on up inside. Some months, if you don't have a lot of EWCM or if it's on the thick side, your ph may seem really good but in fact it's just that not much EWCM is exiting the cervix. Up inside where the sperm meets the egg, your pH is always higher than 4.5 and that's GOOD because that is the ideal environment for sperm of both genders and a fertilized egg to thrive.
