Hi Ladies, new to forum and my first post
These were taken at my 19 week scan, my friends and family have looked and reckon these potty shots are way to big to be confirmed a boy, one even reckons the umbilical cord is in the way due to the shape of the um junk lol.
Can you help a confused mumma out here?
Thanks in advance ladies

Hi!
I’d agree the cord is probably what you see..though can’t see any “3 lines” that could account for labia so if the tech told you boy, they probably saw something that isn’t visible on the picsLast edited by LMSM; May 29th, 2019 at 01:41 AM.

Our sway didn’t work for #3 & we had a little oops for #4 but we love them all to bits... not sure if we ever will but somehow hoping we might add blue to the crew, to complete our family, one day...
Fingers crossed for TTC #5 (again) for early 2024!luck has finally been on our side- expecting our 1st little boy October 2024!

I'm a sonographer. I would be fairly confident those look like boy parts (yes it can seem that big, really just depends on the angle, etc.) because it looks like there are a bit of testicles especially in the first picture...not to say it can't be tricky but cord doesn't really look like the parts in your pictures.

If the tech told you boy, it's very very likely a boy. The techs see wayyyyyyy more than we do from a couple ultrasound pics and they know if they're zoomed in on a certain part, if they've blown it up at all in terms of size and so on.
And welcome BTW!!
Do you have any earlier nubs for us to take a look at?!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thank you!
No, no nubs whatsoever. I didn't even know I was pregnant until I was 15 weeks when I started noticing my bloating wasn't going away.
I had been on the depo shot for 6 months and fell pregnant 3 weeks before my second injection was due, had the second injection assuming I was safe being within the 12 week limit but I was already pregnant and didn't know it!! So this is all a massive shock for my partner and I as we didn't want anymore, but this is a blessing so we will soldier on together through this.
