Hi,
I'm so happy to find this place. I am the mom of 3 boys ages 13, 11, and 8. DS #3 was a Shettles opposite. With him I had also followed the low sodium & potassium/ high calcium & magnesium diet from Langendoen & Proctor's The Preconception Gender Diet. I think I ate too well on that diet, even though I consumed hardly any sodium. Plus, he was conceived on the full moon.
I tried to give up the idea of having a daughter these past 8 years, but I just turned 40 and it's now or never. I am going to try this year only- if she's not meant to be, at least I'll have no regrets. High-tech is not an option for us, so we would be going for a natural sway.
Anyone know of a 40yo with a successful pink sway? I'm off to start my research...
Thanks to all of you for making this site so great.

Welcome!
I'm fairly new here too, but we tried for a boy! (we cheated, did IVF, can't get preggers on my own anymore).
I can say that in our trial this time around, hubby took maca root and we got 5 boys. I can also say (and this is confirmed by my doctor) that a man who uses "recreational" drugs long term is destined for girls (it kills off boys).
Good luck!(DD '89),
