I did Vitex and it messed me up. I took Soy for 2 cycles and got pregnant. It is like Clomid but not as strong. If you don't want twins take it later in your cycle around CD4-8 or CD5-9. Don't take more then 100mg (= to 50mg Clomid). If you don't get pregnant after a few mths try 150mg.
Never ever take more then 200mg because it will be like taking birth control.2007

If you do the normal girl diet and supps with Soy then it should sway pink. I have my plan posted already under the Pink section. I used Nature Valleys Soy Isoflavones from Walmart because they had one that wasn't mixed with anything else (some are mixed with either or all D, E, and A). I did take 200mg but I was hoping for twins.
Twins - If you start taking it CD1 or even CD3 you increase the chances of two eggs. If started past CD4 or even CD6 it is more likely that only one egg will be released. Taking it later can also help your body to make a healthy mature egg, which was what I was going for.
We DTD once a day up until 2 days before O (because of being sick) and then every other day after for a week. I didn't not J&D but I did use rephresh 2days before O because I felt the symptoms of the ph rising.2007

Hi, Can I but in? when you say soy is this like soya? I haven't heard about it before. I have started to look up vitex abd think that sounds like something I could do with, but not sure as I am on antidepressants at the moment and they may clash. In the future I would like to ttcDD, twins would be great. Would love to know how you get on.

Soya, soy, or something you eat would be more in the boy diet. What I took was pills called Soy Isoflovones.

Some people want to kickstart ovulation (like they've lost a lot of weight or supps have messed up their cycles, or they have long cycles and want to O earlier) by using soy isoflavones, esp. if they can't get a doctor to prescribe them Clomid (soy is a pretty decent replacement for Clomid, altho I don't think it's good at lenghtening the luteal phase). Since they can't take soy with vitex, they take Vitex (and sometimes SP) for a full month before CD 1 of their attempt, then stop the V and begin soy for 5 days CD 3-7/4-8/5-9 and then wait for O and have their attempt.
Some people do want to try for twins and soy can increase twinning but nowhere near the amount that Clomid does.
The downside of soy is that it ~may~ cause more EWCM for some people (this is partly why IG makes the claim that it sways blue) so if you use soy, you need to be sure to use antihistamine to control that CM.
I don't advise it for the average swayer who is doing fine TTC without it because I personally think there are prob. benefits to be had from taking V and SP till close to O, and you can't do that with the soy involved.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

taking soy/clomid on some days vs. others seems to affect how many eggs you release and the quality of those eggs. Tehre is a thorough breakdown of that in this soy essay http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...-girl-boy.html

Soy is soy isoflavones, NOT soy that we eat in foods. It's hard to get the amount of concentrated soy isoflavones via food that you can via supps. If you are interested in soy for twinning read the above link and then there is this link which has a lot of suggestions to up your odds of twins. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...ing-twins.html

That is the claim made by another website but I do not believe that to be supported in any way by the facts. Soy has been shown in every study but one to lower testosterone. Vegetarians/vegans eat way more soy and have more daughters. In fact, people who are TTC a boy should prob. avoid large amoutns of soy via diet pre-pregnancy, because high soy intake has been linked to birth defects in the genitalia of male infants.
