Differences in breastmilk for boys and girls
I came across this research - they have apparently been able to identify that breastmilk is different for girls and boys - more fat and protein is found in the milk produced for boys. This really does show that our body is somehow aware of the gender of the baby we conceive, making adjustments for the extra nutrients boys require.

New Insight on Benefits of Breastfeeding - :: Cincinnati news story :: LOCAL 12 WKRC-TV in Cincinnati
I am having an obsessive morning and have spent my time googling things like "lost weight before TTC" and out of all the hits I can find it seems that the vast majority of people who say they have lost weight before having a baby, did go on to have a girl. This LE diet looks more hopeful by the day to me!Mummy to three beautiful little men :
And 2 beautiful both brought into my life by Gender Dreaming sways on the LE diet.
So grateful for this wonderful site with all the information on it. I am sure without this site I would not have my 2 beautiful girls.

I LOVE everything about BF and its benefits, thank you for sharing!
In my opinion, they will never be able to make formula to be like mom's milk, there will always be something that is missing ( for example, mother's antibodies so the newborn is getting passive immunity through milk, which is fascinating.m/c 2001

It is interesting ... but I'd like to read the actual study and not just this article, KWIM? They mention there isn't clear evidence showing WHY or even IF the claim is true. I absolutely do believe breast milk is best but I do think sometimes these "studies" aren't all that scientific!

what is the study actually called? I'm a librarian and we have paid for resources for our medical college students and I may be able to access it and attach a PDF of it.
