even small weight loss proven to lower estrogen and testosterone!
There are several links to this article this morning but this is the first one I came across.
Intellectually I knew that lower body fat meant lower estrogen and less muscle mass meant less testosterone, but nice to have a study to back it up.

I just got my numbers back from doc after two month Vitex and weight loss on le diet. Unfortunately low estrogen shots back and raises Dht!!! which makes me mascular, more leg hair etc....I will start saw palmetto and I hope this gets fixed even though I keep reading that it only changes dht in skin etc not in blood!!! I checked my blood withdraw from 2011 after DS2 and my entire andro hormones were low even dht. I also read that high carb diet raises dht... this is what I am doing since 3 month...Atomic please help....

DO NOT add saw palmetto. That will be like throwing gasoline on a fire.
It is totally possible to go overboard and lower estrogen TOO much, which then may make you look and feel less feminine. I would up fat intake IMMEDIATELY to enable your body to make some estrogen to counterbalance the DHT!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
