study about obese men fathering boys?
Someone else posted this today but the post didn't work out and some people could not see/comment on it so reposting.
Study finds obese men are up to 27% more likely to father a son | Daily Mail Online
This is a bogus study IMO. It is done in people undergoing fertility treatments which tell us nothing about real world results.
I can guarantee ya based on my observations that obese guys make more girls. By far and away. Super skinny guys can also make a lot of girls, but most guys in the middle make boys.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

as someone with 2 girls with an ex that was really skinny when i got pregnant, and a husband who is on the heavy/obese end and also had 2 girls i would say i agree with you atomic. Another observation about 'men in the middle' so to speak is ex's brother...extremely fit and healthy...so id say thats a middle type situation..hes 100% not skinny but all his bulk is muscle and he works out and eats 'gym food' all the time...had 2 boys with his wife.

I'm trying not to get too excited about my DH's weight gain then! He is only 5lbs away from being considered obese. He is a full 20-25lbs heavier than he has ever been!

My husband had to be at least 50 lbs more when we got our girl than 3 of our 4 boys.

Likewise my own father was extremely skinny and bony when he and my mom had my 2 brothers...and had started putting weight on when they got pregnant with me.
