egg may have more control over sperm than we think
Here's an interesting article.
THIS is why I really, really want you guys not to get too hung up on theories about how gender swaying works. WE DON"T KNOW and at any point in time it may be proven that there is some other mechanism that no one has ever dreamed of coming in to play. All we can do for our sways is do what has worked for most people, most of the time. Don't go over and over every theory looking for the magic bullet because it may end up being some other thing all together that we haven't even thought of yet.

Hi Atomic,
Would you mind if i sent you a short sample of what i am eating just to see if i am roughly on the right track for a girl sway please?
I'm not being too strict with myself, but am worried i may not be doing anything right.
Thanks in advance

Nice find AS I have always had a thought about this, at the need of the day despite all the swimmers banging their heads to be let in the egg only chooses the one it wants, the egg takes 60 days? to be created, so in that time the things we are doing to sway is preconditioning that egg in to what it is looking for, I also think that sometimes when we have excellent sways but get a gorgeous opposite the egg was starting to open and somebody else snuck in the gap Cool!

Yes please just start another thread and do that. Let's keep this thread for discussion about this study

Interesting read thanx AS. It's funny in the few instances where I get into a conversation with friends about gender ratios etc they are always surprised with the scientific points I put forward about it. One reason I love the approach this site takes.

This is really interesting especially given the focus for sway is mostly on diet. Lately all I do is look at mothers to boys and girls. I have loads of family pregnant this year. I’ve been ‘casually’ asking about their diets and activity slightly before they conceived.
Miamelb you’re absolutely right, I like the approach this site takes. I like to know why and how plus results. I didn’t need convincing after that. Signed up and voila.
Atomic I won’t wait for a bfp or successful sway to thank you. You’ve done so much and continue to for so many women. I appreciate that.

The part most people miss is that you have to actually open up a forum. So go to the main page and have a look at the forums and open one. Then you'll see the "start new thread" option.

Thanks Fitzma, it's my pleasure and if I can help in some small way it is my joy to do that.
