    Fish Oil tabs..

Ok my bottle here says each tablet contains 1000mg fish oil natural
But the bottle says to take 2 capsules 3 times a day - so that is 6 in a day?

When TTC a boy.. we only need 1000mg a day right, so does this mean just take one capsule a day?

Oh, and should DH take the same amount of fish oil as I do?

Oh my that is a LOT of fish oil! Yes, I would just take one as long as you're sure that the info is per tablet and not per dose. Yes, DH can take the same amount as you.

.5 mg folic acid is 500 mcg. For you, I would take 4 or 5 spaced throughout the day because you'll need it. DH can get by with one or two (if he's already taking another vitamin there is probably some in that too so he would only need one.)

Vit. E should be 400 IU.

    Thanks for all that help!
I am pretty sure it is 1000 per capsule for the fish oil.. as it says you can take up to 6 a day? I will check though may try and find the supplier and give them a call!

If a person had had a heart attack or something, they might need such a high dose for thinning their blood and lowering their cholesterol very quickly. But most of us don't need such a high dosage and it can thin your blood too much.

I definately do not want to thin my blood.. I suffer heavy periods and prone to PPH after birth.
