I never thought it might be temp of solution, I just went for ambient temp off the thermometer on the wall at home. I calibrated every few days, I wanted to make sure it was accurate but most times I checked to recalibrate it didn't need it.

I still can't get it to stabilise while holding in solution so I layed it flat after stirring and it worked, do you think that it ok to do?

Highly likely it would have still had the solution on it nothing else.

Are you adjusting the with the screw driver to get the ph you want?

when I calibrated it yep i did =)
