Which is better....(dtd timing)

I am set to attempt this weekend. Because of several factors I can only count on getting two good DTD out of DH around ovulation.

Is it better to DTD ???

O-2 & O-1

OR

O-2 & O day

OR
O-1 & O day

I can't imagine TTC for 8 months! Our DD was a one time thing so I am hoping this next one will be just as fast! But I have a lot of friends who are newly pregnant that were trying to get pregnant for over a year and I know how stressed they were so you will be in my thoughts! I would say to do O-1 and O just because 2 of my friends that are pregnant with boys both did it on those days. For some reason I feel like a lot of boys are concived on O-1. Not saying that timing has anything to do with it ... but I have noticed a that they all have O-1 in common. As do most of the women on this forum! Good luck! Sending lots of baby dust your way!!!!! And hopefully you will get a nice BFP!!!!

Hang in there Adia i pretty much gave up at the 8 month mark, and got my BFP at 10 months.

Thanks Cinss, you give me hope. I can't tell you how many times I have thought of you swaying for so long and then finally getting a boy. I hope I am as lucky as you.

I did O-5, O-1, and O so I'm gonna say O-1 and O

Thanks dloui, we DTD on O-3 and I tried this morning but DH lost interest...he promised me we would finish up tonight as I should ovulate soon.

Unsatisfying answer - we don't know.

Good news tho - it probably makes no difference at all as long as you are having a couple of attempts before ovuluation. Waiting till ovulation and then doing one attempt (the old Shettles timing) was not helping people conceive at all becaue the sperm take some time to get to the egg.

I do think o-1 is the "go-to" day for conception, I think it gives good results so whatever timing you go with, I'd try to get O-1 in the mix somehow.

My fingers are crossed like crazy. I'm in the 2ww. I'll take a HPT on Sunday.

On CD11 I felt HORRIBLE all day. Nasty estrogen headache, sick to my stomach, lethargic, achy. We DTD that evening and I laid in bed for an hour afterwards with my hips/legs propped up. We had tried first thing in the morning with pre-seed but DH was too tired so I made him perform later that evening.
That night when I was a work my headache subsided and I started having to go pee a lot after midnight, going pee a lot is always a sign of dropping estrogen levels for me, have no idea why, but it is.

I felt much better the next day and my CM dried up that afternoon. So I think I caught it right ovulation. We also DTD on O-3 so we'll see!!!!! I really want this to be my month but I feel like I am armed and ready to go if it isn't because I have my swaying plan from Atomic all done....we'll see. I'll let you all know on Sunday or Monday!!
