My blue sway - what do you think?
So, after doing a lot of research, here is what I've been doing for my sway. Let me know what you think - any suggestions appreciated also!
Diet:
Eat cereal + full fat milk for breakfast every day
Eat every 2-3 hours, protein plus carb
Each day include in diet: a banana, a cup of V8, almonds, dark chocolate, full fat dairy, a lot of fruit and veggies
Lemon water all day
No coffee (not a big coffee drinker anyway)
Supps:
Women's 1 a day vitamin, plus extra folic acid
Fish oil
Clomid (this will be my first cycle on clomid due to not having a period/ovulating regularly) days 5-9 of cycle
Guaifenesin tablets starting after clomid (so day 10) until ovulation
Frequency:
DH releases every 2-4 days
Will DTD every other day starting on day 11 (per dr. orders) - but will test with OPK and may try to get an extra attempt when we get a smiley face!
*Will also use preseed each time
I am nervous about being on clomid and ttc a boy... but trying to stay positive! I already have a wonderful DD (we were swaying blue with her too, but with Shettles method and just found out that it's not effective!) Thanks for any input!

Sounds good to me! *BLUE DUST* I would maybe switch your womens one a day to a prenatal .. and maybe add some super b complex. And maybe the week of O drink some green tea along with your lemon water. But those are just some suggestions.

Thanks! Just curious - is there a big difference between a regular multivitamin and the prenatal, as far as swaying goes? Prenatals always made me nauseous and I ended up getting prescription ones from the dr. last time.

I would add a wheatgrass supplement for an extra nutrient boost and the B complex sounds good aswell Are you doing any weight training? If not I would start doing some weight work daily. I knwo one of the worries with clomid for a boy is the lack of cm but the guanifesn, preseed and fish oil should help with this, plus I have had 2 succesful blue sways with very little cm so its def possible with everything else in place. Also a friend of mine conceived her only boy when using clomid, her other 3 natural pregnancies were all girls, she never swayed with any, so with the good nutrients and body work in place you will be in a great place

Oh I forgot, I did stop cardio and have been focusing on weight training, although I'm thinking of upping it a little - maybe do it every other day. Thanks for all of the feedback!

Sorry I just saw that you asked me a question! The prenatal IMO are just better because they seem to have more folic acid and more things in them that help prime your body and get it ready for a baby. And the more fertile you are the more you sway towards blue! I also had to be prescribed one by the doctor because of nausea. I feel your pain!

Women's One a Day has a better array of nutrients than most prenatals for a lower price. Sometimes prenatals have more iron in them (or a different form of iron) which is what make people sick.
Stick with the Women's one a day and take extra folic acid to equal 2000.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
