Did baking soda finger/s dry you up?

I did bsf for the first time last cycle and have a feeling it may have dried me up, I don't think I had nowhere near as much ewcm as I usually would?

Who else finds this happens? I am not sure wether to try it again next attempt and use less or just give it a miss...

I don't know if it dried up my ewcm but the mix of baking soda and preseed made me really wet, i was constantly wiping it away.

I only did 1 BSF 1 hour prior to DTD and experienced no issues ... other than it making me smell funky


But it didn't dry me up or make a noticeable difference in my CM. I know the gals who have done it multiple times over many days more often complained of lots of watery CM, not so much getting dried up.

But TTC5, you had a great pH naturally last time! Honestly if yours is naturally in the 7s again (or even high 6s) I wouldn't worry about it. I never could get mine to test above a 5 but quit testing it a long time ago since all it did was bum me out.

I have found that any time (sorry TMI!!) I or DH reach inside my vajayjay before DTD, even at ovulation, it makes me very dry. Doing things like putting in my diaphragm or even some kinds of foreplay have this effect, so it doesn't surprise me really that BSF might do the same.

ETA - if htere is any way you can orgasm after the BSF but before DTD, this might really help remedy that.

Excellent advice! I always have big O before THE attempt bcos there is no way I can have one in doggy position.

BSF makes me watery lol! and I obviously had cervix irritation from it when I tried to do it week prior to O 0 fresh blood spotting, so no way I'm doing it again, only 1 hour before BD
