Any harm in upping protein/nutrients before swaying?

I am swaying again, starting the beginning of May, aiming to have a first try 6 weeks from then. I had a miscarriage in late February after swaying, and in order to get back to normal, I have been exercising moderately, cardio and weight training, and upping my protein, aiming for 70ish g/day. I know this is more than my normal 'girl' diet, by probably 10-20g.

I am NOT upping calories by all that much, as I find that the TTC boy diet requires A LOT of food to reach 2000-2100 calories. I don't want to put on weight yet, since I still have the weight I gained from swaying in December. I am not really losing weight eating/exercising this way.

Is there any harm to this for my sway? I thought it would help my body recover from the mc and honestly, I do feel a lot better.

    Thanks!

I would say you are fine as long as you are eating healthy and not losing a ton of weight

Sadly, definitely not losing weight. I feel like i need to go through another pregnancy and nursing a baby to lose the weight.

You are still going to be swaying blue by doing this. More is more no matter if it's as much as other people do or not. Most of us boy moms did not do the full on HE Diet every day of our lives, but we did eat in a more blue-friendly way. In all honesty I can't totally say whether or not it's good/bad for a sway, or if it's ok, etc. Those are crystal ball q's I just don't have the answer to. I don't want you to gain or lose any weight you don't want to and if you are happy with this than I am too.

Thanks atomic. I probably will gain a few pounds when I go full on, but I have a feeling that my body has sort of maxed out on weight gain, if that makes sense. I went from 127 to 136, and have stalled around 134-136 since the MC, and probably can't gain much more anyway. Once I add 2100 cals to the mix, it will probably stabilize at 136. But, that is much much more than both of my pre-pregnancy weights with the girls and much much more nutrient dense.

Yep that makes perfect sense to me and that is the same weight range I got most of my boys at.
