Fade in pattern
So we have been dtd unprotected and every 2-4 days and did last night and todays opk is darker than yesterday - the darkest it’s ever been but not nearly the color of the test line. I’m wondering if I’m “fading” in now I’m concerned that last night’s activities might “stay around” if this is actually ovulation!! I’m just not sure what the fade in pattern is or looks like.

If you're still only on a fade in there's very little chance that you are close enough to ovulation to have it matter. FXFXFX exciting!

When your body has these “practice” ovulations where it gears up to ovulate but doesn’t, would they LH go up a bit then come down but not go up enough to actually trigger ovulation? I was just curious because last week it seemed to be getting darker on the opk but never as dark as the control line then it became super faint all this week.

Yes it does go up, and in some cases, even enough so it ~should~ trigger ovulation, but then your body just decides to hang onto the egg. So people can get a true positive line, but then O just doesn't happen. So you can have either a dark but not positive line that goes away, or even a positive line that goes away (often plus symptoms) and then you just don't ovulate at that point in time.
Hello, Atomic hopefully you will see this! It has definitely been a while. I am not TTC, my cycles have been MIA for over a year, I'm quite certain. I have not been charting but haven't had it....
Not sure where to ask not TTC
