BD and OPK Question

I got my positive OPK a few days earlier than expected this month, so when DH and I BD in the morning, I just got up and went about my day. Does this still count as an attempt or is there pretty much no chance any sperm got in?
Also, if my OPK is still positive, we should continue to BD, correct? I'm worried about hitting O+12. Sorry for the 'silly' questions, this cycle has been way different than normal.

It still counts as an attempt, sperm will make it up there. If you can still attempt, go for it. According to the brilliant and awesome atomic, timing, like O+12 doesn't sway. Good luck!

yes its still considered an attempt, and as long as your OPK is positive I would still DTD

Awesome, thanks! We ended up with one more attempt because I still had EWCM and then OPK went negative right after, so fingers crossed.

Oh it's still an attempt! you can get up right after sex and run a marathon and still get pg.

You need to have 3-5 attempts at or around pos OPK. it has nothing to do with how long your tests stay positive, you will tend to O about 36 hours after the first positive

O+12 doesn't sway to begin with, most eggs will be dead or unfertilizable by that point, and if there was a viable egg on the scene, it will have been fertilized by the earlier attempts so I wouldn't even worry about that.

You can still get pregnant if you get up right afterwards. If every woman needed to lay down afterwards to get pregnant I bet you more than half of us on this site wouldn't be alive to read this post. DD was a "jump and dump" one day & one time out of the month. I would consider this an attempt for sure and try and squeeze a few more in have fun!
