Epo supplement question
Just a quick question, I was wondering why you stop taking epo after ovulation? Someone was talking to me about taking it as a supplement during pregnancy, and I wasn't sure if its safe or not.

It depends on what part of pg you are in. It has prostaglandins and thus is not a good idea in very early pregnancy, when prostaglandins are actually at their very lowest point in your uterine lining. There is some investigating going on into using prostaglandins as a way to induce early abortions.
Later on in pg it is said to help induce labor but most people do not take it until after 36 weeks or more like 38 would be better. I tried it with DS 3, it didn't work, and then possibly because it's a blood thinner I ended up with a lot of little blood clots in my amniotic fluid that I never had with any other pregnancy. I really regret taking it.
If someone did want to use it to induce labor, vaginally seems to work a lot better than orally and safer.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
