Zyrtec for allergies
Hello, all! I'm a seasonal allergy sufferer, and I usually take Zyrtec daily. Our Ohio February has suddenly become 60+ degrees, and my head is pounding. This month would be ideal for TTC for us, but would taking Zyrtec ruin my sway for a boy? I've been avoiding medications pretty much all together, but will my daily headache lower my chances for a boy anyway? I was taking antibiotics to treat a sinus infection when I got pregnant with my most recent daughter, so I'm nervous. TIA!

Zyrtec has not been effective for TTC a girl really. The same number of people are getting girls both with and without it, indicating to me that antihistamines aren't doing much if anything anyway. I would take them if you're miserable (although I'm not really sure if Zyrtec works for headaches?? It does for sneezing and runny nose)
The other thing to try is one of the nasal sprays like Flonase, those work really well.

Thanks! It works for my sinus headaches, but I'm going to try to use it sparingly. I broke down today and am getting some relief, thanks!
