Is there anything I can do the week leading up to blue attempt?
I was travelling last week for a work project & not able to stick to my HE food plan - I was trying to focus on more frequent eating rather than higher volume but I didn't have the freedom to prepare snacks and eat as I often as I wished. I skipped a lot of meals (stress) but tried to force down large dinners with meat when I did skip. I wasn't able to workout while travelling either so I also skipped gym. I'm pretty much back on track now. We're having steak tacos with spanish rice this week. I've been on an avocado toast & fruit smoothie kick since it's so hot. I've been trying to eat cereal everyday w whole milk.
Wondering if there's anything else to the "Boy Blitz" - I bought 100% raw organic coconut water and I'm going to pickup wheatgrass shots at the local Clean Juice place. is there's anything I should do to compensate for last week?
I should be getting an OPK on Sunday or Monday so I'm going to start Guafanesin this week. Also just received Preseed from Amazon and some Essentia alkaline water. I know alkaline water is silly and unnecessary (especially a week out) but I figure no harm, no foul - plus H was intrigued by it b/c all the athletes swear by it!
I'm pretty excited to formally "attempt" TTC, really don't want to get my hopes up for a BFP but it's first time we're pulling the goalie on purpose around ovulation.
Thanks again, I fin

I think the best thing you can do the week before O is DTD every other day (more sperm = bigger chance of boy)

My last week before O I did (additionally to HE diet and supps):
Guaifenesin

grapefruit juice
raw garlic clove (gross lol) EOD
handful of mixed nuts and dried fruit
youtube exercise vids 3xweek
I hope it helped me to get a successful sway

This is all very good advice! I don't believe the dried fruit does anything though so for people who are gaining weight fast this is a way to cut back on calories without affecting your sway negatively.

This is good advice BUT do be aware that some blue swayer's hubbies cannot go that often. DTD every other day is fine if you can do it (and if you don't believe in timing, that is) but if your husband can't, please go to every 2,3 or 4 days and then still do try to go for the 3 attempts at or around positive OPK thru O Day.

Hi just an update: we tried DTD on Fri night but H wasn't feeling it and couldn't release. He's definitely stronger in the AM We DTD on Sat AM and again on Sunday AM. The thing is, it almost felt like I had ovulation pains on Saturday but the ovulation strips were really really dark yesterday evening. My temps are kind of all over the place right now too. Oh well, there's always next cycle!

Good luck and blue dust headed your way!
Is there any way to have attempt the morning you expect positive OPK next time?? Since he can't manage it as well in the PM, it might be a good idea to try to make that happen instead!!

TTC blue since Aug, no BFP yet
TTC blue since Aug, no BFP yet.
Since DH and I are both 35, I'm bummed. And scared that we're infertile.
I thought I had "all my ducks in a row" ahead of our August date. I'd been to Drs, taking vitamins, switched to light cardio and swaying since June, charting/temping, using OPKs
My thyroid Dr told me my TSH was high in August (3.56) so hoping that was our reason for not getting a BFP, maybe my higher dose of meds will bring it down and we'll get our BFP soon?
DH got an all clear from his Dr in July but didn't test his testosterone, sperm or vitamin D. Just a basic physical testing for cholesterol and whatnot.
Last week, after AF came, DH ordered a male fertility vitamin / supplement (Go Dog Go) just in case his swimmers need help. He also suggested we "up our game" when it comes to attempts which says something since normally he doesn't have a crazy high libido. Maybe since I made him watch "One More Shot" on Netflix? The price tag of infertility treatments left a real impression on him so he's all about trying to get this done naturally
We have hit 0-2 and 0-1 the past 3 months, but didn't hit on O day yet (work travel). This month, we're determined to catch it. I've been taking guafanesin at night to help w CM, started OPKs today and we use Preseed. I should ovulate next Wed 10/31 according to the Ava app which seems accurate cross-referenced with Fertility Friend. I'll confirm w OPKs but I'm just wondering if there's anything we're missing?
O-3 Sunday - BD attempt <-- is this OK?
O-2 - Monday - skip
O-1 - Tues - BD attempt - AM or PM?
O day - Wed - BD attempt - AM
Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
