As for me, things are OK. DD2 diagnosed w/ high functioning autism, PDD NOS. Found out today I have gestational diabetes and will get more info this week about diet changes. U/S to check placenta moved is on the 9th but no bleeding which is a great sign. Other than that, holidays have been nice and kids are othewise healthy and happy.

Sorry I've been gone but miss everyone and can't wait to catch up!
Good to see you back iluv, sorry about your DD but it's good now she's been diagnosed so you can get the right help for her. Not good about the GD, I hear the diet is very boring! But you gotta do what you gotta do so you'll manage. I got my test on Tuesday to see if I have it or not.

I started a new January thread too yesterday... guess this one is more popular!

    Happy New Year y'all!

TTC5, I am so sorry about what has happened with your procedure. I think writing a letter would be appropriate. Have you thought to contact a lawyer? Is there any way the procedure can be reversed? I hope that you get that miracle pregnancy in 2012.

Bec, FX for a sticky blue bean!

Iluv, how old is DD2? I have a friend whose son is autistic, and he has been getting all kinds of help since he was 3, and he has made HUGE strides! The earlier the intervention, the better. There are so many programs designed to help these days, it is amazing!

A friend of ours fell pregnant recently after her husband was told was infertile too so it does happen, hey? Oh I am holding on to strings now
Sorry feeling very emotional right now.

I am writing a letter but finding it hard to word it. (to the hospital).

I am under stress now so don't need to have added stress on top (which swaying was doing). We will BD when we want, how we want and pray to God for a miracle.

I don't want to face the specialist that did this to me I don't want to go anywhere near him ever again. I'm going to write to the hospital a letter of complaint and ask my GP what I can do next as I don't want this to happen to someone else.. just because I already have 4 children surely he would have told us of this risk because people DO go on to have more children and we have every right to aswell!!! Enough now, I am building up far too much anger every time I think about it
I think the letter is a good idea, they should tell you the risks no matter how many children you have.
