You can call Legal Aid for advice (free) If they can't help you they may be able to refer you to another service. I think you need to find out if writing the letter is your best move and if it is someting they would recommend they would probably write it on your behalf and try to get compensation for you.

I would just go with the facts... You've been TTC for a while now. Recently in conversation with your doctor it was brought to your attention that the coiling/embolisation may have made you infertile. You were never told that the procedure carried that risk and would have delayed having it done until you had finished having children. I don't even think you need to mention in your letter that you have 4 children already, it is totally irrelevant.

Hey 5- I am so sorry again, this blows. I like Bec's wording, and agree with Cinss....you could get at least some compensation if you were indeed robbed of your fertility. You may be able to find a lawyer via that service who will take your case and just take a percentage of your compensation. But hey- let's be positive and hope we both get a miracle baby in 2012! xxoo

Happy New Year Everyone! It's been a long time. Are Lola and begonia still posting?

As for me, things are OK. DD2 diagnosed w/ high functioning autism, PDD NOS. Found out today I have gestational diabetes and will get more info this week about diet changes. U/S to check placenta moved is on the 9th but no bleeding which is a great sign. Other than that, holidays have been nice and kids are othewise healthy and happy.

Sorry I've been gone but miss everyone and can't wait to catch up!

5, I had a look at those links, thanks. I am so sorry I really can't believe how negligent that doctor was. I know you don't want to see or have anything to do with the doctor but I really think you have a strong case. Can the coiling be reversed at all?

Yahmama, sorry to hear about the miscarriage. I don't think swaying has any influence on miscarrying. If you think about it, there are lots and lots of women who have normal progesterone that miscarry. So being on progesterone supps doesn't guarantee a sticky baby.

3, looking great! Not long to go now. I totally agree about being highly tuned during the 2ww and putting everything down to pregnancy symptoms.

Kris, I tend to agree with your partner about the name meanings. But that's just me. My girls meanings are 'morning dew' and 'little lamb'.

So I O'd early this morning. We DTD last night and the night before. Tomorrow will be 1dpo. I'm feeling pretty relaxed this time so hopefully the feeling lasts!

Back in here this month as I've had a chemical pregnancy this past cycle...but it was odd as my bleeding didn't start or a whole week after my BFP on the FRER. This explains why my "Internet cheapo" tests never gave me a BFP...they prob weren't defective, just showing my levels never reached 25 Hoping for a diff result this month...
