It sounds like AF to me as 14 DPO would be too late for implantation.
could you have ovulated later than you think?!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I'm thinking af too because it's no longer light. So I'm out for this month. I tracked ovulation using opks. Got my peak on cd14 and we BD the next day at 24, 36 and 48 hrs. I also tracked CM.
I was wondering why I felt that way during the 2ww. I was so sure I was pregnant. I had cramps every day, backaches, and headaches on and off. Breasts were also sore and tender. I don't know how I could've created those symptoms in my head. Any ideas?
I guess I'll try again at ovulation. I'm just super bummed it didn't happen though.Last edited by dollbear; September 13th, 2020 at 06:05 PM.

So you didn't start having attempts till 24 hours after your first peak??
Timing doesn't work. It has been completely debunked and by waiting so long to have an attempt you cut your odds of conception to nothing, and may end up inadvertently swaying pink if you only get one attempt in before the egg shows up.
Progesterone rises in the 2WW and so sometimes you will have very realistic pregnancy-type symptoms that don't amount to anything. i know it's hard to believe but enough of us have experienced that in months we can't possibly be pregnant to indicate that some months, we just have that big rise in progesterone causing the symptoms.!!! Yes, 24, 36 and 48 hrs after peak. Now that I think about it, I always have ewcm like 2-3 days before I even get my peak.
I'm already planning for my next attempt. What do you suggest I should do? How many BD and what days? I'm already on a HE diet. I'm eating cereal and increasing my sodium intake. Please and thank you for your help.

YES!! most babies ever conceived, boy and girl alike, are conceived from sex 1-2 days before ovulation. That's why you GET that EWCM so soon.
If you want to keep sticking with timing we have a method to do that - have one attempt the night of the first positive OPK, then again the next morning (this should be O Day) and then again that same night (so two in one day on O Day). Then have one more attempt if you can the day after, and every other day for a couple rounds after that. this is in keeping with Shettles timing, but avoids the perils of having your attempts so late and possibly only one attempt.!!! Thank you! I think I will try to BD the day before peak day, peak day and O day and possibly again next day. Does this sound good? What should I keep in mind when trying to sway for boy?

Yes that's great as long as you're not hung up on timing. The day before peak day would be supposed "pink timing" according to the old school sway tactics (which don't work anyway). That is exactly the type of thing many of us with boys do.
One thing people often forget but is easy to add is trying to get enough sleep. If there's any way to do that, it can really help.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

How likely is it to get a BFP at 10dpo? For my last sway attempt, I kept testing and of course I wasn't pregnant. I kept seeing everyone getting a BFP at 8-10dpo, sometimes even sooner. I wasted many tests for no reason at all. I don't wanna do that again and put myself through the agony again.
