Vitex
Is Vitex really important to take? I am kind of overwhelmed on ALL the vitamins and was only gna take a selected few such as calcium, mag, vit c and cranberry. Will that be enough Or do u recommend vitex to?

I only took Vitex and Saw Palmetto and none of the others you mention.
You want less nutrients for a girl so I would leave the Vit C and Cranberry. If you want to take a pill for acidity you can take low dosage aspirin instead - starting with 2 per week and building up to a maximum of 5 per week if your body tolerates it (no excessive bruising or bleeding).
Here are the calcium essays if you haven't seen them, so you can make your own mind up about that (there are 3 essays, the link is to the first one):

Thanks girls! This diet is sooo overwhelming.... I'm not really sure what to take Or do anymore. It seems one thing is better then the other, but then later u find out that it really isn't helping Or can make things worse. Ugh...
Zanacal... How did u sway? Did u do the diet?Mom to (17) (11) (8) From a previous relationship and (6) and (2) with DH and a VERY unexpected or due 2-5-17

Here's the essay about lowering pH with supps - personally I prefer people do baby aspirin and aspartame, along with drying up CM using antihistamines rather than using Vit. C or cranberry to lower pH. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-...echniques.html Vit C and cran add lots of nutrients and cranberry is not safe to take during pregnancy, so you have to stop and start it suddenly which is not great for your or your baby's health.
I do recommend vitex http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-...ces-here.html; while no sway tactic is 100% I do think we're getting pretty good results with it.Last edited by atomic sagebrush; May 18th, 2012 at 12:52 PM.

We go off of a different set of information and beliefs than some of the other sites do. I promise that all our info on this site, hangs together and makes sense with itself logically and is also fully supported by the newest science. Some of it does contradict advice given on other sites but that is because they use information that is outdated and has been debunked. I do also have a few old threads where I talk about how to take the most commonly suggested supps, not because I believe they sway pink, but just because at the start of the site, so many people were taking them and I wanted to have that info available for them.
Please read http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...sh-anyway.html for an explanation of how and why this site is different from the other sites on the Internet - it really helps to understand where the sites are getting their information from.!!! Thanks Atomic! So do u recommend any other supplements to take with the vitex, baby aspirin and antibiotic? Where can I get vitex and How often do I take it? What antibiotic do u recommend and when do I need to take it?
I am doing the aspartame... I'm drinking CL, diet, adding equal to things and am eating the yoplait light yogurt. Thank you so much for all the advice u give! I see It's been working for A LOT of girls and am hoping for the same result.Mom to (17) (11) (8) From a previous relationship and (6) and (2) with DH and a VERY unexpected or due 2-5-17

I read that Atomic has had some sleepless nights recently (due to sick kids), so I thought I would jump in here. I think she meant to say ANTIHISTAMINES, not antibiotics for drying up CM, lol. Most people take Zyrtec (cetirizine) and you can add in Benedryl (Diphenhydramine) on some days if you want, just keep in mind that Benedryl will make you very sleepy!
Vitex is also called Chasteberry or agnus-castus, and it can be found at many vitamin shops or drug stores in the herbs section.Mom to 3 wonderful boys waiting for our

Here is a thread with everything you need to know:
http://genderdreaming.com/forum/tryi...pink-sway.html
And here is the Vitex essay written by Atomic. In it she says, "You can take 400 a day, 800 a day, 1200 a day, or anywhere in between." (all doses are mg.) It works best if you take it from AF to O.
http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-...nces-here.html
Besides Folic acid, Vitex, baby aspirin and antihistimines, many pink swayers take Saw Palmetto (another herb). We take 320 mg. from AF to O. Saw Palmetto helps lower testosterone levels (which is good for pink).Last edited by myGirl; May 16th, 2012 at 07:18 PM.
