The rules are different for people who legitimately have deficiencies in nutrients - you NEED the nutrients for your health. I would switch to 2x a week and have blood redrawn at your convenience to see if the deficiency is still there, and if not then you can just drop it. Unlike other nutrients, Vit. D is stored in your body fat and so it's ok to just drop without weaning.

Yes, and since you need it for your health, you should continue. You may want to reduce the number of days per week that you take it.
Unlike some nutrients Vit. D is stored in your body, so most people are able to take it for a bit to make up any deficiency and then reduce or stop dose. Are you able to have your levels checked? You may not even be deficient (or at least not as much as they were.)!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I doubt this one is a strong swayer. 3 boys, conceived in the dark of winter when we get like 2 hours of semi-light. All alaskans are recommended to take vitamin D year round because it's pretty impossible to not be deficient otherwise, I never took it at all until after DS3.

I actually do think Vit. D is a strong blue sway but that is in people with normal Vit D who then take more. Anyone with a deficiency in ANY nutrient needs to take what is necessary for their health and well being.

Just confirmed low vit d from doc and had tested a couple years ago and was low too. Trying to decide if now is time for supp. Uggg swaying girl

I had very low vitamin d while swaying.. I was taking the lowest I could for the sway and ended up conceiving another boy! When I wasn't taking enough I wasn't even able to fall pregnant. So no matter what it sways, getting enough vitamin d is so important. For you and baby!

Hi everyone, I gave birth to my first lovely daughter in September. I was wondering what would be the best timing to start trying for another girl? Would that be a year after giving birth, 18 months...
Best timing for ttc girl after...
