Sooner then planned..
Hey everyone, I'm hoping to get some feedback on something my husband and I have been considering. I started my girl PCOS sway mid July (very lightly) since about end of august early September I got more serious into my sway and I must say I've definitely had a lot of bumps in the road, my sway has not been perfect in the slightest. Since about July I've lost 39 lbs. I recently hit a plateau in my weight loss, we didn't plan on conceiving until late November/early December. We've been talking about trying next cycle(early November) so I guess what I'm asking is, did I sway long enough? Has anyone conceived a girl on a shorter less strict sway? And when I say less strict I still stay under 1800 calories but do have some white breads/tortilla on occasion (which I know is not PCOS friendly)I usually always stay under on fat/protein, with an occasional overage on cheat days. Having my weight loss plateau (20lbs away from where I WANTED to be) really just kind of makes me want to just start trying since I can't seem to lose anymore weight. (And am also getting impatient haha)
Any opinion/ advice would be so greatly appreciated.

If you started TTC in November then that would be 3-4 months on diet which is great! I think sometimes the more relaxed sways tend to be more successful because you're not freaking out over every little detail. From what you've said though, it sounds like you're still sticking to the basic principles of the diet.
Good luck!!

Thank you atomic, we're hoping it was a strong enough sway, fingers crossed! I totally messed up on the weight loss since July it's been more like 20lbs, since starting on trying to lose weight back in April/may would be 39! I lost way less then I hoped to! Thank you for all of your advice and help during this whole process!

i most definitely hope so, I feel like I was so not strict on this sway even though I stayed in limits, but I still freaked out of stupid mistakes I made! Haha Thank you so much for your reply!

I just checked my fertility tracker and it looks like we're back to end of November. But I guess a few weeks isn't something to ride home about!

if you stayed in limits, you did not make any mistakes.

Really the only things I regret doing are having white breads or tortillas or the occasional bit of ice cream, all staying within limits, but still not ideal for PCOS. Omg glad to know I'm in the clear for staying within limits

Well, that rule is not applicable exactly to PCOS though. I was talking about for swaying on the standard diet - all foods within limits. On alternate diet, you should try to avoid the white flour and sugar both for your fertility and your sway.
THe cheats are over and done with now but moving forward please try to keep within the limits. I am not trying to be a hard ass, I just don't want you to now think "hmm atomic said this is ok within the limits" and now eat that stuff regularly. Not for the PCOS type of diet.
So happy for you Treens, congratulations Sent from my SM-A225F using Tapatalk
