    2 Week Sway Impact

So I've heard that if you're living a boy friendly lifestyle, and then switch to hardcore girl friendly for 2 weeks before conception that it likely won't sway at all for you. Does it works the same the opposite way? If you've done a really strict sway for 12+ weeks and lost a lot of weight, and then 2 weeks before conception you went on a prenatal vitamin and gained a couple pounds, is that not enough time to reset your bodies thinking on 'tough times' or does it basically fully erase your whole girl sway... just a thought?!

Bump! I hope Atomic will answer this one
I believe, and have no evidence that it takes time for body to detect change. It is seen that people who do diet for a longer period of time get better results. You need to make your body believe that this is your new lifestyle or there are hard times now!
2 weeks...dont know, but maybe it takes time for the nutrient to build up in the body again and give signal about good times (hormones take time to change)....???

well... I've seen a few opposites conceived during a "brief" break in the swaying diet, but you always have a chance at getting your DG.
I personally wouldn't risk it if you have a choice

I am going on holiday soon. I am in the 2ww at the moment but if I don't get a bfp then I will skip oct ttc and wait until nov. it will be hard to stick to LE while on holiday as my parents will be with us so no way would I get away without eating breakfast without being questioned. I have being doing LE for 12 weeks that I would be afraid of a 2 week break would wreck everything I have been working towards.
    two gorgeous boys

    And a beautiful little girl

    Our sway worked!!!
Thanks atomic and all at GD X

I'm already 26 weeks pregnant lol, but we're team green so I go through days where I am constantly thinking about the what if's etc. wondering if there's any hope for a girl!

I actually was about to see a fertility specialist (right when I finally got my BFP) so for the 2 weeks prior to O I had to start a prenatal - that's the only reason why I did it.

Ok I am of two minds about answering this question. Firstly because I know you're already preggo B and G and I don't want to offer false hope/despair, so I am not a super big fan of picking over sways that are already done deals.

But, I do know there are others out there who are not pg yet and want an answer so I am going to answer it but I don't want to be fueling any obsessing over something that is outside of anyone's control.

To begin with, I DO think that switching from a boy-friendly lifestyle to 2 weeks of a girl-friendly one, CAN make a difference for swaying. Super reliable, maybe not, but it;s certainly better than doing nothing.

At the same time, if you've done a strong girl sway for several weeks and then do some more boy-friendly things, NO, you don't undo all that but is it ideal, NO, it's not. It doesn't erase everything, but it's not going to be as good as if you hadn't done that.

My fear is that if the body has had a perceived "crisis" where it sensed a lack of nutrients that then when you go on a break, it hangs onto everything it has. Also coupled with the fact that people get so control-freak-y on pink sways that it may drive T levels thru the roof (or whatever it is that is actually governed by that) and then relaxing on diet simply pumps in a big burst of raw materials to make testosterone with.

Don't worry, I wanted an honest answer! I knew at the time that I was so underweight and probably malnourished that the only direction I could head was more "boy friendly" by gaining some weight and adding some actual nutrition. I was more just curious as I know the longer you sway, the better chances it gives! I have some pretty fab boys so a third would be very loved!
