Anyone else frequent the FF forums?
So, im on both sites (now that i have gotten a BFP im more so on there as their pregnancy forums seem more active for my due date) but they have a small amount of people who discuss gender desire/selection through swaying and its sort of driving me bonkers lol to read some of the stuff on there because some info just isnt healthy at all and is the total opposite to what Atomic has spent so much time researching on here (and i personally believe to be more accurate). And boy do people get grumpy if you disagree
Id just hate to see people get sick or do stuff proven not to work because they listen to a random person who hasnt done any research
Or maybe the hormones are just making me nutty haha

I am constantly posting about GD in the swaying forum. I do agree it is frustrating seeing the nonsense/unsupported theories some women support...and one lady in particular is quick to get her knickers in a twist any time i disagree with her. I dont argue back though (and despite some near-insults) as it goes against my attempts to be less competitive. I am also amused by mothers of 7+ boys (with 0-1 daughters) who want to believe 'it's all chance' and say swaying doesn't work bc they tried it and it failed.
I'm very active on FF generally, too. Great community overall.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

I have to stay off other forums for the sake of my blood pressure.
I try to always keep in mind we're really going against the grain and bucking the status quo here so there's going to be resistance. the explanations are also more involved and less "sexy" and sound-bite-y than timing and French Diet, so at first blush the other way has its appeal. I really appreciate everyone who is willing to take the chance on our way of swaying. We are getting to the point now where it's getting undeniable (esp. for the blue swayers) that this is working consistently and I think by the end of this year we will have such a solid body of results that the quibblers are going to be silenced.!!! Smart to stay away... The nonsense drives me crazy and im not an expert like you are
Maidentomother- i think i know who you are talking about and you are correct- quite grumpy when she disagrees lol. And if its the same person im thinking of she basically tells everyone this whole 1 BD at pos OPK is ridiculous and you have to BD every day or it wont work (because she did the 1x BD once and got a boy therefore its gospel)

Yup that is the one. She thinks the plural of anecdote is data.

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
