Went way over my sodium limit for the day.

Help! I went way over my sodium limit for the day. Like double over. I stayed within my calories, but blew the sodium. What do I do now? I also had onion which is a big no no.

most people dont count the sodium as it just adds something else to track and get worried about. So dont worry about this, just track cals, fat and protein.

regarding the onion, nothing is banned. I did read somewhere here that cooked onions are better than raw onions, if thats any help. I eat cooked onions about once a week.

I started trying to limit sodium and it's impossible!!! I'm mush more relaxed about it now and it makes LE so much easier. Just don't add salt to anything and use low sodium options when you can.

I don't even think sodium sways so I would not worry about it one bit. I leave it in the mix simply because it's old school and possible, and when those two things can coexist, I allow them to (in other words I maintain old-school sway tactics whenever I find we are able to keep them without causing bodily harm or drastically lower pg rates, rather than just axing everything I personally don't agree with, if that makes sense).

I got my daughter with both my husband and I eating tons of sodium after a failed old school sway with DS 4 where I was limiting it.

Re onion, that is not a big no-no. Again, that is one of those things where no one really technically NEEDS to eat an onion, so heck let's leave them out, can't hurt, yk? But I seriously doubt that onions sway much at all (and if you read the "myth of the magic foods" I just posted in your custom forum there is more of an explanation in there as to why that is
