    Licorice (DGL), just as effective?

The lady at the vitamin store explained that the DGL form of licorice root has less harmful effects, but I'm wondering if it too is just as effective for a girl sway?? Thanks :-)

One more question, I figured I'd add it here rather than start a new post...
I got both calcium citrate and magnesium citrate to take for my pink sway but after more research realized that these two can make your ph actually rise, so is it best to stay away from them or are they beneficial enough that I should take them and just monitor my and DH's ph closely and intervene (with rephresh and such) as nessecary)? Thanks again for the help!

**edited to say I already found my answer to the calcium/mag question!

I'm staying away from cal and magnesium as they are nutrients and increased nutrients seem to pretty clearly sway boy. We aren't even sure if ph sways in any significant way so please don't stress about ph!

I don't know what the lady meant by "less harmful effects" but I think we actually WANT those harmful effects to lower sperm count/fertility and sway pink. I'm not sure and I hope AS or someone will chime in with more info.

Thanks! I read that essay too, don't know how I missed the DGL part!!! So much info to take in I guess... And, I'm just beginning to understand the PH thing not being as important, I had already bought testing tape but soon realized it didn't have a big enough range, I don't think I'll be replacing it now that I know more. Thanks again!

I think it's less effective for a pink sway. I don't know it for a fact but that is my suspicion. I think the gly...whateveritis stuff in the licorice is probably what is swaying.
